I'll teach you a little tip on how to find out stuff on the internet that I learnt only last week! If you click the link below it will walk you through it. It may be able to teach you how to train your powerful mind to do it yourself.

Google and the internet are powerful tools - discuss!
All about fire spotting and extinguishing before its out of control, 5g, drones etc but the crews have to be able to be deployed instantly, aircraft, ground base units, HQ operations, etc, just hanging around waiting to go ? Up to date our RFS type units get there Capitol from chook raffles. Maybe twiggy is suggesting that he would be happy to fund such a program ? That would be very generous of him and his name would be remembered for generations, three cheers for twiggy !
It's all fuel....it's gotta burn one day. Allow decent clearing around houses, build to fire codes, let it burn naturally.

Sorry, what a crock. Twiggy should stick to digging up stuff and perhaps look at his contribution to warming the planet. This fairyland stuff was bought up by Macroscience in a thread last season. Have a look at that first and get back to us
Last summer a number of NSW Rural Fire Service firefighters were injured or killed while either driving or in their trucks. Accidents involved roll overs and trees crashing on cabs of trucks, crushing the occupants. As far as I know, the trucks used are Isuzu trucks. These trucks are commercial vehicles designed to road use. They are not off vehicles. They are not modified for off road use.
We should be looking to use vehicles designed for off road use when fighting bushfires. One such vehicle is based on a tractor and called the Caron. It looks like it would be much better at fighting fires than what we currently use.
Thank you for the comments. Please be advised this dicussion is now CLOSED.
LOL

those tyres wouldn't get far down my firebreak, or that ground clearance. massive glasss area, for farm visibility, but no good in fire , minimal strengths in cab due to massive glass area, just a few initial observations from my sofa
