F-One Just released a DW specific board. Its costs a PILE of money!

I like the side handles and no bottom handle.

What other brands are cooking up DW production boards? I thought after Kalama invented the category we'd see the big names undercutting on price but this costs 30% more!

I saw a fanatic prototype, so they may bring something to the market soon.
I any case I hope there will be more options under 1500 price and 7 kg.

We have been making DW boards for about as long as anyone, here is the latest www.oneoceansportsaustralia.com/shop/the-egg

We have more sizes in the works as well.

(Pacoo) When it comes to DW boards lighter is better so not sure why anyone would want to paddle a 7kg board just to save a few bucks. When DW you don't want any disadvantage and extra weight is a disadvantage. We can do a none carbon in our Eggs that would weight roughly 6.3kg for 110L but here in Australia I still way prefer the lighter full carbon as it feels so much better. Our non carbon would be just over $1500 so if someone really wants one and can wait they can pre order it but all stock boards coming are carbon as they give the very best experience and help make it as easy as possible(which is important)

Yes sorry, Paul I meant under 7kg. 6,3 sounds excellent indeed and at 1500 USD, it's probably the best combo in the market.
Put some foot straps option, ship to Europe and you may have a client when my custom dies. ;).
(I would love a 6,2 by 23 option).

The Ocean Sports Egg looks killer.
Any plans for an EU distributor?

We actually have a few importers throughout Europe, unfortunately, most are SUP focused so don't order too many foilboards much to my dismay I need to keep working on this side or find someone who wants to do the foil side more.

A few of the areas where crew cant get the ONE foilboards we have been able to send some direct and still keep the pricing pretty fair so if it ever comes to upgrade time and want to look at different options then feel free to shoot me a message and I can see what we can do.

Pacoo - Straps on a DW board? We can do it but is it really needed? added weight for what gain would be my question. Keeping the DW boards as light as possible has always been my theory and i love lightboards.
We have a bunch of protos around those sizes arriving really soon so you never know what might be coming

Yes I know straps are so old school. I guess I learned in Kalama times, but now I feel nude without. I just use the front one made of light rubber. This plus reducing the amount of deck pad has reduced the amount of weight considerably. My last custom is around 6 kg maybe less, but durability is still a question. I should not use it in overhead conditions but these narrow boards are killer to paddle into bigger faster waves. We need for of this coming.
May I ask you a question, now that I have you online. Why no recessed deck on the egg? This thicker rails are great for secondary stability. I have those rails on my 23,5" and feel more stable than my sunnova 27"

Also interested in what production DW boards are out there. Anything besides Kalama (E3 DW), Sunova (DW and Casey Aviator), One Ocean (Egg), SIC (Manta and Mako), and F-one (DW Rocket) 2022 model pictured below:
