Nice pics Casso. How did you get on once you got out there? Wind seemed like it was only going to build.
Casso, can you share any impressions of the Fanatic Sky Wing 5'0 please, seriously considering getting that one right now, and unable to demo one. Thanks! Rob

Hi Rob, not Casso in that pic, it was me. Very fun little board that still just about floated me just at 78 kg.
It pumped up well on to the foil but not as good as the 5'4" but that's not surprising. Once up though ability to pump through lulls was definitely a step up. Also could crank in to turns that little bit harder and it became beautifully playful. Super nice to carve around and jump as it's agility really helped the acceleration and pop.
If you're looking for maybe your second oats or ride in a consistent spot then def think about taking the leap. Although if your spot is like Sydney (gusty and light most of the time) then don't rule out the 5'4" as it still hangs in there well in the windy stuff and pops up on the foil like nothing I've tried before.
Both great boards.
Sam.
what size is the Fanatic one ?
That's the 5' x 24" @75l.

It was a bit hectic. Thought I was going to rip my wing to shreds when I had it in neutral during one gust.
I don't know how dangerous the lake is, but that wind dinging looks pretty bloody dangerous. Great photos
