So what difference does 2 inches shorter, 1/2 inch wider, wide point moved back, mast track moved forward and handle moved back make? Combined they make a massive difference
Shorter - less swing weight so feels more agile flying but a bit more yaw when padding and slightly harder to catch waves.
Wider - significantly more stable.

Wider in the tail - did not have to move back when taking off on a wave and getting up on the foil which is gold.

Mast track forward- more lift, less swing weight in front of mast so board feels more agile, you can touch the back more pumping, a bit stickier getting up onto the foil.

Handle balanced when the foil is attached is awesome.

Overall really happy after initial surf in glassy tiddlers. 5 thumbs up (need more emojis Laurie)

Wingding this arvo was interesting. I thought it would be sticky and hard to pump up on the foil due to width and shorter length. But it was the opposite, got up in marginal conditions really easy. Stoked it was great on the wing.

Little bit lighter than the Armstrong SUP and way cheaper
Scotty is a legend to deal with.
