I really like my Slingshot INF 76 for kite foiling, but so far I have struggled in our weak Florida Summer surf learning to prone surf on it. I am finally at the point where I can consistently pop up without exploding but as soon as I am up I have lost speed and cant get onto a foil. Is anyone prone foiling the INF99? I feel like the 76 and 84 would have too much overlap, and the 99 would be a better addition to may quiver. I weigh 86kg and would really like something that would allow me to pump back out to link up and catch as many waves as possible before my legs give out.

I would love to jump ship to a Carbon setup like GoFoil or Armstrong, but for now I think I will be more then happy with the INF99. Just curious if others are using it for prone surfing. I mostly see videos from the Windsurfing/Wing Foiling crowd.

Get the 99 for sure. Slingshot is going to be releasing some new foils soon in the phantom line. Higher aspect will help with the pump out but you need more speed. Also if you're stalling, move the foil back a little, you want to be able to get that nose down to gain speed.

I'm 84 kg and used to prone the i76 and it was great ,anything from 2-6 Ft no probs , make sure you have the mast mounted in the A position and get a little speed before popping up.Was able to pump in for 50 m but was still learning to pump which takes a couple of seasons.

That's probably my biggest challenge - I am trying to make it work in our summer surf which lately has been 1 ft and mushy. Our break has a very narrow sweet spot in these conditions so I end up loosing most of my push by the time I have popped up.

I think I would mostly be using the i76, but I think it would be fun to have a bigger wing for the small days and dock starts. Just surprised I have not seen much on people using the big 99 in the surf. I saw one video where some one jumped off some rocks and pumped out to the line up on the 99.
