Looks awesome, 6 8 x 30 @ 130ish litres. Personally dropped off by Scotty with beer and pizza. Gotta love the service. Will get it wet on the weekend, not frothing much .
So all up including the foil will be 10kg, much nicer walking up the massive hill after a foil. Very happy.
The hill:
Nice one Hilly great looking board.
I've just pulled the trigger and ordered 6'6"x29 off Scotty!!
Stoked with the board. Feels lighter than 6.6kg my scales might not be that accurate.
That board looks amazing! Just weighed my 5'11" foilsurfmachine at 6.5 kgs, so your bigger board is indeed light!
Hilly
What are the widths 1 ft back for nose and tail?
Will you rail tape or did you get the fabric rails?
Another ordered.
Love the option for customising as the trend for very high volume short foil SUP boards is too much for the length I require at my skill level.
So getting 6ft 11in x 30in x 120 l volume, me 75 kg.
Got it wet today. Long paddle out which showed it paddled well. Windy out the back stability was no problems. Felt awesome when up on the foil. Very ??.
Awesome, Hilly! And that does look like quite a paddle out...

Light is right except it pings back at you after a wipeout.

Please explain?
Is this a leg rope selection issue or just requires change in technique?

So light it bounces around in the whitewash and can fly back at you.
Does the lighter board weight make catching waves easier?
Everything is easier - carrying it to the water, paddling, catching a wave, popping up onto the foil, not sticky on touchdowns, turning when on the foil, pumping and, especially, carrying it back to the car after a long session
More reactive to inputs so you can get caught out if you are not spot on with your movements. Looking forward to getting the bigger wing to try more pumping, tried to ride a jetski wake yesterday with a little success on the 1600.
Really good day today. Great combo with the Armstrong
Looks pretty epic out there Hilly, nice kit too mate
About a month before I get my custom 6 11 x 30in x 120l
Let the frothing begin
