Anyone rethreaded the cable and swaped sides with ASS on a SIC bullet?

Yes. Need a lot of patience.
Changing sides is often 2 steps fwd and 1 step back as you try and feed it thru. You can use a rigid but thin wire to pull the steering cable thru if necessary, as the cable often catches on the underside of the deck grip as you try and push it thru. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes there's a lot of cursing so keep young ears away.
Also recommend replacing it once a year. A lot easier to replace when it isn't snapped.

Thanks,
Which end of the board did you feed from?
Also I was considering renewing the deck grip, for a whole new feel, and maybe go lighter colour. Perhaps it may be easiest to do both at the same time if only the deck grip covers the cable.
Any suggestions on removal and re-adherence of deck grip?
