Interested in these models, just wondering if anybody has tried both boards and how much difference there is between the models considering the 2lt volume difference.

Get fella's
Difference is actually 118l to 123L

Just that little bit of extra length / width volume meaning making life easy

Thanks Scotty, must be a typo on on your website shows the 8.3 x 31 at 120lt.
Im trying to decide between the boards, have not demo this modle but riding a 8.3 spitfire which i love, when conditions are good & a 8.2 widepoint when bumpy, looking at replacing the widepoint with a hipster leaning towards the 8.0. I'm 94kg mid 50's
Cheers colin

Thanks colinI better have a look at that. (typo)
I reckon by the sounds of things you have a bit of an act so the 8'0 should be fine.
If you're riding the 8'3 spitfire then no doubt the 8'0 be no worries
cheers

Well went conservative, picked up my 8'3 hipster today. Love it, more than happy. Very stable, & super responsive. Decided after an hour this board will replace my 8'2 widepoint & my 8'3 hipster only need one board and if i decided to go two would get the 8.0 hipster.
Bought from Shane O'Callahan Binks Marine Adelaide, great people to deal with.

You will share the stoke mate! My 8 4 x 30.75 x 122 liters rocks in all conditions!
