Have just had a couple of sessions on the SMIK 8'4" x 30" with MR twin + small trailer fin set up.
Turns like no other...speed galore...looses no speed when bottom turning even when taking off supa late.
Top turns vertically like a fighter jet and i think you will break your ankles before it looses grip.
Now what to do with all those other boards i still own.

G'day foghorn.
a few custom orders have been sprinkled around the country with production aiming to hit oct.
If you were in the UK they'd be arriving in about a week hence the need to get it up on the site
cheers

Could that be a reincarnation of the"Evil twin"!

I can't believe you remembered that one Foghorn , must be over 5 years ago. (Took me a while to find the pics) Sorry for the hi-jack Scotty but this is what he is talking about. It went OK but I eventually added extra boxes , with some winglets I picked up at Koa Board Sports in Hawaii to help control the sliding.

Remember that board well Rob and the many discussions about what fins to use.... if only you had used the MR twin with stabiliser.

Yeah I sold that board too fast , looking back at those pics it had a beautiful outline. Agree on the MR's and those front boxes were too far back.

Not really if you would consider that board as a Twinzer. Put the main fin back and the small one at front. Any way this board get closed to the truth, definitely does to my opinion.
BTW: Can be the Futures fin boxes the trouble on that board, should be FCS so you can switch fins as I reckoned to do.

Yes, on my 9'3" noserider. Love it, but slides a bit in turns, a trailer fin helps.

Great looking board Piros, but I think they were referring to this evil twin:

So how would a Smik Spitfire 8'3 work with the same twin+trailer setup? Maybe you tried it Scotty? Thinking about that combo for weak windswell.
