As I am sitting on the sidelines recovering from a Rotator Cuff injury (NO SUP for YOU!!!!!!!) whinging about my predicament I have decided to do the age old man thing of drinking to excess.....oops I mean accessorize.
I wanted a bag for my 14ft Sidewinder so a bit of research Surf Aids in Byron bay came up as a good option.
So after filling out a measurement form that would confuse a Saville Row tailor, I ordered one on Sunday
It arrived today and must admit well impressed. the Sidewinder slipped in with no problems and has a tight fit all around even on the weird assed bulbous nose
It makes my Balin bag I bought for my 10 ft Sunova look like a pair of 1970 Corduroy brown pants
Stupid not the right way up again
Its well made 10mm foam as its a Carbon board but still very light to carry
I do recommend these guys

Looks like a nice bag, good price too.. Does it zip all the way up one side so you can lay your board in it with the deck facing up, makes picking it up so much easier when you are getting the board out?
Only zips around the back, kinda slides in with a push from the back
Agree a zip all the way down would be better (like the Balin) but had no issue getting it in and out
If you want a full zip then I think Surf Aids will make anything you want if you ask them. I got a bag with an extra handle on the side to make it easy to lift into my car. We exchanged a fair number of emails before we settled on a design.
I have bought lengths of zip and sliders from them to replace the metal slider on my older board bags. They've been very helpful and reasonably priced.
Only if you are still wearing them, are they brown?
Nah and they were maroon to be honest but fkn cool.
