Heya! Does anyone have any experience in windsurfing and using wind wings on SUP. I have a naish nalu and tossing up which option would be best for a beginner :)

Look for steady 10-15 mph breeze.
Start sitting on your board, fly wing and make one jibe.
Kneel on your board, fly wing and make several jibes.
Now start from knee to standup using the wing to help you up.
At first, short runs and lots of jibes.

I think if you've never windsurfed before I'd recommend getting the Wing-Surfer because learning to windsurf on a Nalu is going to be more difficult... Much more difficult than the wind wing but you still need to pick the right conditions to learn in..

What size Nalu is it and how heavy are you?.. Also what conditions will you be learning in?.. eg open ocean or lakes.

Thanks guys!

It is a 10'6 Nalu and I am only 48kg.. Currently on salamanda bay where I intend to learn.

I am leaning towards the wind wings, but not sure how fun that would be on a SUP...

Wing and SUP is the ultimate light wind in small surf setup.
You can paddle it in either prone, sitting, or on your knees dragging the wing if the wind dies.
