A goofy footer on the Goldy, I'm considering a switch to utilise these right points and stop chasing lefts all the time. Thing is, compared to a shorty, our wave count is through the roof, so progressing to riding switchfoot would happen alot quicker due to this. Has anyone done it or does this?

Sure a rare a great skill to possess, but I would miss my backside relationship with the wave. It is a long one.

Same as SurfingJ, backside surfing is quite enjoyable too, I would miss it.

The more you surf backside, the more you enjoy it...

If you rode switch foot permanently, would it still be switch foot?

Perhaps change your board.

Backside surfing can be more fun than frontside. Watch backhand surfing and backhand sup surfing till your eyes bleed, it will help.

Laying back on the paddle on a late back hand drop is a feeling of joy
