see if this works, this is bloody crazy
I wanted to write a story about my first time paddle boarding and forum page says..'something went wrong, please go back. Go back where...so I write the see if this works and it gets posted..
Bull s*** I tried again and my added post deletes itself.
anything over 3 paragraphs.
I think I have had that before when I wrote a long post, or got interrupted in the middle of it so it took a while, I think it happens if you take to long.
If you take a while to post, copy it first, in case it disappears then at least you can paste and post.
I recommend extensions to the browser that saves what you are typing, such as:
addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/textarea-cache/
They are invaluable.
There seems to exist also for chrome:

Tonz, Four months ago I started paddling. Today was my 60th paddle. It gets better. Today I paddled in beam seas of 1-3ft bay chop. 4 months ago I stupidly tried to do the same thing, fell every 10 feet, and nearly washed up on a jetty.
I think I read somewhere on this forum that with sup, falling is learning and I have had some days where Iearned a lot.??
When I start getting super frustrated I remind myself that falling is a part of SUP. I love being on the water and look forward to getting better and I hope you find the same enjoyment as I do. ??
