All great spots for SUPs as they aren't short board areas. Scotts can be a great wave and South West Rocks has a wave out near the jail that can run for 500 metres if you've got a race board.

If you take off at the main beach in front of pub you can paddle north around the headland and across the creek, this gives you access to a beach that is a couple of km long ( till you get to the rockwall of the Macleay river! This beach has some great banks at times with a sucky break off the creek mouth on the odd occasion. Uncrowded and easy to access! Steve

if you want a nice creek cruise paddle then do a little slide paddle up the hat head creek on high tide and after that head to the local bowlo for a cold one and chill out.

KP Ive got my local practice flat water paddle that finishes at the local club, I think this summer the practice paddles are going to end in a daily frothy (perfect for daylight savings), only dilema how to get back to the house/car after.
