That's like saying you only need one guitar!! Or one woman!! Absolute madness!!
Haaaaaa! Good one Zuesman. My wife says I only need one of everything that I want. I think she's right. More than one, more problems.
How many do you need? My skill, my finesse only needs 1 board.
In my case.
Average skill, average finesse, average disposable income, average ego, limited garage space, above average wife, above average chance that if I had more than one board I'd pick the wrong one for the conditions! ??
So it's the Jimmy Lewis Striker 8'5 for me.
Very rarely do I think. If only I had another board..
But if I had a setup like the Creek I wouldn't complain.
Ok I have two boards an 8' starby pro and a Laird 10' , I know there's a lot of hype about longboard sup but I just can't ignore how much I love my 8'
I guess I'm just a satisfied surfer
I like the simplicity of one board. It improves my skills and understanding of the board. Smik Twin 107 for me, I'm 78kg and it does everything in WA. Over head high, small mush to paddling on flat with wife. All conditions. Recently up in a really fast clean reef break over head high and thinking board was too big as not turning with the speed then noted my front foot still had distance from the edge. Moved it over the rail and I'm back carvering hard. So just adjust and learn the board.

It's an incontrovertible law of nature.
sorry green tea ...can't do it .2 yes .
9,1 Sunova acid ,and my 14' foot javelin ...
if you've ever used a 14 for flat water ,nothing compare s ,it just seems too slow .

Aren't you a school teacher or something (or is that the other bloke )?

I think you will find it is
P=N+1
Where P=perfect quiver and N=current number of boards
I think you will find it is
P=N+1
Where P=perfect quiver and N=current number of boards
No mate, there is no P (or P is potentially infinite and not definable, depending on which school you went to)
I could absolutely disappear to the Island of Santosha with just my 9'4 Creek.
Great waves, wonky waves and flat-water paddling, I'd be happy with it all.

Check the formula. However many boards you have, you always want another one

year 10 dropout I'm afraid, the deputy principal told my entire class we'd be wasting his time if we went on to year 11
It's a hard one, since I like SUP surfing and also racing and downwind. So maybe it's time for 2 boards quiver, thread?
My one board SUP Surf quiver is the Infinity B-Line 7'11 x 27'' (85 liters). It's my day to day board and I use in all conditions: big waves, small waves, mushy waves, glassy waves, etc. It's such a perfect board!
My one board race quiver is the SIC RS 14'0 x 24.5''. Since it's very stable for its width and a true all-water board I used it this year in every conditions: flatwater, surfing, beach race and downwind. I'm going 23'' next year but I will also add a Bayonet 17'1 for downwinds. So If I had to settle for only race board only it would be the 24.5

Guess who's wife knows their Seabreeze alias...
