Took my Bic Wing and Leyland Leopard for a 3 or 4 week drive around the East Coast.....Yes it is a SUP fishing video......but a lot of "catch and release"
Merimbula.
Sit down circuit of the top lake in the morning.
Stand up circuit of the lower lake in the afternoon.
Merimbula inlet.
Bottom lake circuit in patchy rain, time to pack up and get ready to go home.
Those 2 piece boards look awesome.
Had sup surf long bay beach after yesterday wind swell. 2 hours after high tide was good but swell drop fast. Great to get some wave rides ?????????
Finally had a surf today. It has been a couple of months since I have been out. Nice, very clean, late-afternoon, waste-high waves.

CSE how was the muscle memory and sea legs ?
Victorian coast today. Beautiful conditions, but temperature was only 7 degrees C in the middle of the day.
It kept the crowd factor down to 1............ (me)

Surprisingly good! Today I had another surf in fantastic conditions; off-shore breeze, barely a cloud in the sky, waves chest high and bigger, breaking left and right - and one other friendly person for about half the session (alone for the rest 'till the very end). The conditions were pretty good, but I was very surprised how smoothly the turns went! 28 waves in two hours!
I definitely have the after-surf grin and the stoke to get back out there!
Another cracker of a day in Vic. Swell was a bit small, but clean waves, sunshine and no crowd.

Here's another one.
Floating on nothing.
Town beach in thick fog.....very disorientating. If on beach and look out at surf can only see knee to waist high waves...and can't hear much surf. Got caught out big time one day....paddled out and was mountainous.
Today not so bad......maybe 3/4 of an hour before I caught a wave I wanted. Then got them dialed in more....and got some nice ones.
Was only one out by that stage so good pick and choose scenario.
South west vicco mid morning today. Only small and inconsistent, but the sun was shining, the wind offshore and the solitude was 10 out of 10

Solitude wins it for me every time.

Finally got some cracking little knee-high peelers today. Offshore, clean as a whistle, boardies - sweet.
Got down before the sun was up, opened the car door and heard that magic sound of waves breaking. I was frothier than a dog with rabies. I was fair dinkum that excited I ripped me board off the roof and did the Harold Holt down the beach that fast, I would've won gold at the olympics.
I've said it a million times and I'll say it again, the Style is weapon...
