This is a good article also

I wrote this to someone in a PM earlier today. I'd like to share it here also & add I respect you have a differing opinion, but that does not make me dislike you. I just think its worth sharing some information that I'm not receiving elsewhere, cheers
"Differences of opinion are just different opinions, I don't carry grudges because of them. You wouldn't have any friends in life if you did coz your going to always find something with someone that doesn't correlate with your own beliefs."
I thought this was supposed to be a satirical newspaper.
Truth be told in a satirical way of course.
Seems the Ompa Lumpa in charge didn't get this official memo and is still wailing the usual delusional propaganda that the machine churns out.
I remember a power crazed dictator with a funny little moustache that did the same as his city and country burned and collapsed around him.
He called on patriotism and valour in charismatic speeches declaring that the people of his nation would rule because they had a birthright to greatness.
And then then Split Endz wrote a satirical song called History Never Repeats ........
The rest is history, or so they say.
Hey let's quote a doctor.FMD All these expert Doctors that know how to fix The covid Problem ,Then say nothings broken He'll there is no problem. LOL I'm going to have a beer and watch footy.
Wow no new cases in NZ for 7 days and 1 active case left. We are still in level 2 until review on 8th June. Playing it safe but we need our economy to restart.
Sounds like September before we let you Aussie convicts over

At least you won't have to wait long on the lines for the ski lifts this winter.
It's the trade off between 0 active cases including incubation time a hope we can restart hospitality and tourism which feeds supply companies etc
From media there are some states that will travel to NZ before interstate. In terms of transtasmam relationship our politicians have rejected accepting the AUD.
It's specifically the south island snow fields that lose out to tourists the most. I've done plenty of 10 day campervan trips from Christchurch and in August get average 8/10 days snowboarding in good snow with good weather.
From home in Auckland to Mount Ruapehu with 5 hours drive when the snow and weather are good. But needs a lot of snow for base on lava base like more than 2m and roam all over another 1.5m to fully explore. Most South Island and Taranaki need 50cm with tusssok base.

Unfortunately all my snow gear is in Nagaoka, one train stop away from Yuzawa Japan. But I'm keen to come over in Jan or April
Currently looking at Pacific islands, coz they're looking at opening up Oz to NZ & the Pacific islands. Narrowed them down to two, hopefully we can go in Sept/Oct.

In terms of Pacific Islands- Covid has kept some island friends working on seasonal agriculture are now coming into NZ Winter getting warm clothes.
On a serious note the USA is crazy with riot's.
Glad I'm not American and hope normality returns soon.
