My mate was telling me he spotted a truck load of beach closed signs and netting at Hillarys this morning ready to go
Not long now
Every has heard and ignored the warnings

For someone that doesn't live here, you seem to like commenting on the state of play, tolling much?

Btw your opinion means f-all

Too busy standing in the hill
get out here and have a dig
all the waves you want right now
too scared to go out

Big call.

I've surfed with him; he isn't shy.

Both of you should be surfing like pigs in the feeding trough right now.

Empty lineups galore down there
just saying if it was me I'd be to busy getting my fill than to be getting into seabreeze arguments.

Nah...I'm at work. The lineups aren't that empty either. Lots of people lost their jobs.

If the waves in Perth weren't so dreadfully atrocious then we wouldn't be on this rant.
Is there actually anyone that's proud to be a surfer from Perth
Apologies if I never paid my dues there before I apparently moved to the Sth West.
On another note. Razz you were spot on in your post.
We should have better things to worry about at the moment.

Perth yes agree generally really bad surf but great waves within striking distance if you know where to look or have a boat

goes with the vibe of WA really everything requires a drive or boat

you seem to know so much about Perth tho I suspect you are a closet metro

I've never surfed the joint but to be fair I've seen footage of scarbs to Trigg stretch lookin fun in winter as well

United we should stand, divided we shall fall. Please try & show each other a little more respect. We may enter darker times where surfing may become the last of your priorities. A lot is happening around the world under the covers of the C19 smokescreen that is not being reported by the mainstream media...

The work situation is grim. Hospitals chocked up with sick crew. We have 4 supa cruise liners crossing the bite towards our shores. I bet if there is a surfer on one of those ships they arnt to bothered about missing a few waves during pandemic lockdown.

Hopefully we keep the beaches open. Gives us all an avenue to find a bit of joy im sure. As with many things at the moment we need to improvise and find ways especially if your a surfer in Perth at the moment.

Bloody good thread this one. Bit of old school breeze action.

Keep those photos coming.

Not a sole for 100s of meters, then suddenly there's six kooks buzzing around me, no eye contact or greeting received. Of course they'll shut us down!

He should have been fined. Sets a precedent know IMHO that anyone who travels regions for work can go surf.

They've been gathering evidence (taking pics) all week at the main beaches. But hasn't been crowded at all imo. Surfed every day this week with up to 7 people...Neighbours, copper couple have been pulled from normal duties to police Southern boundaries.

Actually surfed with one other this morning where we went the other day, mate said the filming took place when the car park was overflowing don't know if people were separated at the time must admit most on the beach doing the right thing.

At least we can be walking distance

Yeah I agree, we're super fortunate to be in WA.
It's a disaster in so many countries, rough man..
My mates in Wales say they have military vehicles driving around, blurting out mad lockdown messages while trapped in the house - tiny houses too.
Surfing is out..

We should recover from this far better than most. The surf/travel thing was a bummer at
first but it's ok once you accept it. The ocean is really warm and clear, and we can still go in it so I'm pretty happy with that..

Had to rebook a paid Indo trip to Oct recently, so fingers crossed things come good by then!!

Hope you score good waves wherever you
are - says with gritted teeth - haha
