Current Windsurfer World Champion Nick Bez will be in Hobart this weekend at Sandy Bay and Lauderdaile.

Nick will be sharing his knowledge with local windsurfers then getting on the water to show us how it is done.

This is a unique opportunity to meet one of the most talented sailors in the world, and a man who is hugely passionate about the sport.

If you want to race against the best in the world, or just learn a thing or two - this is your chance.

There will also be an informal dinner at the Prince of Wales on Saturday night.

Please contact Jo Chau for more info.

A hugely successful weekend.

Lots of wind, lots to learn, and a world champ.

Over 20 people participated in various technical, social and on-water aspects of Nick Bez's visit to Hobart on the weekend.

AS you'd expect of the world champ, this guy knows his stuff and is only too happy to share the love with other enthusiasts.

It is little wonder that this class is increasing in leaps and bounds.

A big thanks to Jo Chau, SBSC and Lauderdale Yacht Club for putting it all together.

Thanks Jo, Tim B and others for the photos.

surely you are automatically disqualified if you don't wear a fluro wetsuit?
