Hello
I'm interested in buying the Loco Hybrid sup board, has somebody tried it? Any opinion about manoeuvrability, speed in soft waves, stability, weight and strength (two technologies) and wavesailing performance?

Any opinion about Loco brand is also appreciated.

As I'm in Spain, don't know if there would be problems to send from UK after brexit.

Thanks.

Hi Murcel- I have 3 L0C0 boards: - 8'2 El Diablo wood finish , 9'4 Inca regular glass, and my latest 8'4 Hybrid in carbon for sup surfING ( I dont windsurf). I use my Hybrid in my usual spots in N E England in North Sea around Scarborough... Not as powerful as Atlantic Ocean but our waves can pack a decent punch! My Hybrid 8'4 goes great in shoulder-to- head high waves- and smaller too..Takeoffs require a bit of steepness in wave face I think, but once up and going down the line is a very responsive and quick board - in bottom and top turns especially with my back foot planted over tail & fins. Am stoked with it!! .. A lotta fun ! See picure below
LOCO Surf have some great shapes and I reckon their products are very good qulaity at pretty competitive prices I would advise contacting Joe Thwaites the CEO/owner to have chat about board he's a very knowledgeable sup surfer with keen interest in board sailing too . Good luck with finding a new board,, Laters, Nick

Thank you so much Nick. I'm trying to buy the loco hybrid 7'11" but since brexit the transport and customs costs from England to Spain are quite big. I've already contacted them. The only chance I have is to buy it to someone carrying it from England to Spain personally. If you know someone who would sell it coming to Spain , please tell me.

One more favour. Could you give me the one foot off the tail and the nose widths of your hybrid?

Thanks again.

Hi again Mucel Sorry 'Im late in getting back to you with those dimensions on 8'4 Hybrid so here they are: 1 foot from nose =23.5", 1 foot from tail 18". I dont know of anyone coming to Spain so sorry ..I think the best advice if you want one of these great boards is to contact Joe Thwaites at/via Loco Surfing website -he has experience of shipping boards to Europe I believe. My last sesh was on my 8'4 last Friday when had 2 .5 hours of fun in shoulder- high, chilly (6.5C !) North Sea waves. Yeah !!!

Hey Nick, lovely part of England and much overlooked imo. Had a great trip around Yorkshire winter 2003-4 beautiful coastline and even some decent waves at Robin Hood bay and near Staithes.
Both my parents were from Yorkshire so I kinda have roots there.
