Test rode all four foils back to back, using the same board, 80cm mast 12.5", LTL tail. The RS825X is the biggest change in terms of the ride difference. Much faster pitch and roll. The foil changes instantly, with minimal pressure input. You are in total control of the board. No hesitation on pitch or roll. Lot easier to ride than I expected and requires less power than I figured. The GT1050 rides similar to the RS825X but with more lift and slower response. The RS975X has faster pitch control and acceleration over the RS1000. The top end speeds will be similar. The tips of the foil feel like they have more lift in the turn over the RS1000. The RS1000 has been my favorite foil for the last 12 month because it has a huge wind and speed range, turns nicely and easy to get on foil in lighter winds. Conclusion: If you are looking to purchase a new foil, make the increment in size and shape significant.
